(Phnom Penh): The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries reported that in the first four months of 2018, Cambodia exported nearly 5,000 tons of fresh and processed fishery products.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, in the first four months of 2018, from January to April, Cambodia exported about 3,250 tons fresh freshwater fish and 1,650 tons of processed fish.

In April 2018, the seafood sector earned 11,718,595 riel.

According to the report, in April 2018, there were 224 cases of fisheries crimes, of which 209 were freshwater and 15 in the sea. Among them, there were 27,039 m rounds of nets and nets, 27839 m, 428 pipes, 4238 piles, 14,387 piles, 309 processing units, 11,565 square meters of 43 fishing devices and 1,664 kilograms of fish.
