Cambodia's Repatriation Continues to Rescue 28 Cambodian Residents


(Phnom Penh): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on May 25, 2018, said that Cambodian representatives in four countries continued to rescuing 28 Cambodian rescuers from their homeland.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 1, the Cambodian ambassador to Thailand collaborated with Thai authorities to repatriate the six Cambodian minors who were trafficked by human trafficking.

Secondly, the Cambodian ambassador to Malaysia has cooperated with the Malaysian authorities to solve the problem and prepare repatriation of 12 Cambodians from Kampot, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Thom, Kampong Cham, Tbong Khmum, Battambang and Preah Vihear provinces.

Third: Cambodian ambassador to Singapore has assisted the repatriation of a 25-year-old Cambodian worker from Kampong Thom who went to work as a housewife assistant in Singapore on April 18, 2018, but could not bear the hardship there.

4: The Consulate General of Xinjiang Autonomous Region, Guangxi Nanning, China to cooperate with the competent authorities of China, organized repatriation of citizens of 09 people from Kandal, Kampong Cham, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Thom, Kratie, Prey Veng, brokers traveled from Cambodia to marry and stay illegally in China and one from the Province who go to work in the country illegally.
