Forest and Wildlife Guardians claim they find traps for capturing more than a hundred traps in Cambodian national parks. A trap or motorcycle chain can kill illegal animals throughout Southeast Asia, from elephants to mice. The problem is getting worse as scientists consider conservation areas in the region as "bare forest".

The motorcycle belt seems simple, but it can kill tigers, even elephants. Local poachers use these cables to trap many species, including endangered species in Southeast Asia.

The biodiversity newsletter shows the number of wildlife trapping in Cambodia's Cardamom Mountains and the Alliance of Animals The Wildlife Alliance has removed over a hundred traps over the past six years.

Thomas Gray says the crisis of this trap is the worst in Vietnam and Laos, but it is increasing. Up in Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia and Thailand.
